Today: sunny, beautiful. High in the 50s, but it felt warmer with the sun.

Next five days: cloudy, rainy, rainy, rainy, rainy.

(sigh)

But the sun these past few days has been so nice; it renews my joie de vivre, it makes me super productive, and - miraculously - it makes my boring historical linguistics class go by just a tiny bit faster.

I'm feeling quite on top of my school-y stuff right now. In fact, I'm planning on turning in a term paper a whole week early! I've just got some editing to do and an abstract to write, but it should be ready to turn in by Wednesday. Of course, I've still got a number of things to do, but at this point in the quarter (or semester) is nice - the calm before the madness of finals week. I like it!

Also of note: we got a spoon rest that now lives on our stove. We love it. :) On a related note, we took a nice walk down to one of the galleries yesterday and found a really nice set of ceramic coasters; our cheap Target coasters are falling apart (after only three months! I wonder if that means we drink too much tea...), so we sprang for them. Real art! In our house! Sometimes it's nice to be an adult and pretend like we actually have money to spend. :)
