Make up! And hair washing! And awkward crushes!
Anybody want to know how I spent my day? Probably not, but I'll tell you anyway.
I had syntax in the morning, which was awesome and then again not so awesome because of precisely the same reason: I seem to have developed a bit of a crush on my professor. I mean, I've always liked him, but now it just went waaaay out of proportion. I'm keeping track of his sweater-wearing habits. It's insane. And so sad.
Then I had two hours of yoga with the world's handsomest and most beautiful instructor. He makes me want to do everything wrong, just so he'd come over and correct me. (Is it sad that I just want to be touched by someone, even if it's completely platonic? Probably.)
Had lunch with Shoe at DF's and a nice cup of coffee downtown. T'was nice to get her out of her stuffy flat and stuffy history and into the world for a while. Even if I'm not entirely the one to blame, since she actually went out to get her new contact lenses. Now we'll both wear contacts and confuse people! Yay!
Got home, put the kettle on and got some translating and reading done. Watched Dr. Who, washed my hair (it smells really nice and it's so soft) and then painted my fingernails while watching Gossip Girl.
Oh, yeah, nails; check out the miss sporty lasting colour pro brush nail varnish in miss red, it's fantastic! Really loving the way it sparkles. Fatal black is really good too, and they're all as long lasting as they claim to be. Also, I tried out some eyeshadow I bought a couple of weeks back and created my spring evening look in blue-pink. I adore Essence's Quattro shadow in #6 (sooo cool) - and if you apply it wet, it doesn't smudge in your eyelid crease. I hate the way most of my makeup ends up in that crease after only half an hour. Am probably going to go out and buy #1 (ciao bella) and #8 (summer love), since they're really cheap, but really good.
Also, I'm thinking of ordering the Coastal Scents 88 shadow palette. *ponders her financial problems*
