Wow - Seres, Addons, and UI
Around Christmas I decided I wanted to try other classes and also to check out the Horde side of things so I started playing a blood elf mage. I have really enjoyed it! Even though I am frost spec, I have a hard time kiting mobs since I am so use to playing melee charas/jobs in games. ^_^;
It has been a lot more easy going playing Seres than it was Raithgar. I have been gathering my courage and have tried the Dungeon Finder and Battlegrounds. I enjoyed both of them! So far I have completed all dungeons for my lvl range. The groups haven't been that bad so far, thankfully! Only one group I dropped from because of the mouth on the tank while he was verbally attacking two members of the group. Most groups don't talk that much and just speed through the dungeon. I tried Warsong Gulch for my battleground. Not bad, but disappointed that the Honorable Kills I was getting were mostly coming from my comrades. I had thought that each honorable kill that you yourself made was what was counted, not everyone elses. ^_^; But I was happy I was able to do my own killing and helped the others. But the groups were disorganized (or seemed to to me) and no one talked so of the 3 I did we didn't win. ^_^;
I have also been trying to change around my UI and try out new addons.

I really love Carbonite's maps and other stuff, but I wish I could get it show gathering nodes (herbs, ore, fish, etc) and trainers. I know there is a way, just got to figure it out. :P So right now I have the both the ingame map and carbonite's maps up. Also I have started to love Decursive! Very nice! I also like glancing up at the bar at the top and seeing how much gold I have without have to go to my bags to see. Auditor also keeps a nice record of where money is coming in from and where it goes. Travel agent is nice as well since it tells me what dungeons are my lvl range, what areas are best to lvling in, etc. I also like the moving pics on the status bars :3 I'm still working on how I want the UI to look and where I am placing buttons. So work in progress there.
