Well, it's done, Robin is married. It was kind of a surreal experience to be standing in the church, watching her walk down the aisle in a wedding dress. It seems like just yesterday we were goofing off at lunch in the cafeteria. Anyways, moving on from the memories. . . The wedding itself was very, um, interesting? I guess that's the best way to put it. Robin looked beautiful and very serene. PK (the groom)looked very calm too. In fact one of the groomsmen looked more nervous than the groom did. Paul, you know it's true. The wedding went off without a hitch, although not without some interesting moments which made me question what I would want if I was getting married. Mainly, what threw me off was the "Marriage Compass" talk. I guess it wrapped up nicely, but the whole first part was a bit depressing for a wedding. I'm torn between my favorite parts, I'm not sure if it was the working in of the term Category 5 or the whole part about how they would sail over sunken ships of relationships past. And yes the title of this post does refer to part of the wedding. After the wedding we all headed to the Seelbach where the reception was and where we were also staying for the night. Good times ensued at the reception, although mine and Megan's dates were somewhat reminescent of our senior prom dates. But we have fun, and I even managed to pull Jamie out on the dance floor for a few dances, including the Cha-Cha slide. And, there were a couple of slow dances thrown in there too. After the reception we went up stairs to chill for a few minutes before heading over a block to 4th street. We partied it up like rock stars there and stayed out way too late. I've learned this weekend that I don't do well on three hours of sleep either. I really enjoyed myself this weekend, especially hanging out with everybody. I think my favorite moment came at 4:45 in the morning when we used Kristen who was passed out as a table on which to distribute the White Castles that took an hour and a half to get. Yes I said an hour and a half, but that's a long story. Anyways, I guess it's offial the first of three weddings is done. The other two I am actually in, so that should be fun times, albeit an expensive summer. I guess that's all for now, I'm going to get off of here and chill a bit before sleepy time.
Come sempre.
