ClearType
To everyone reading this and uses Windows XP:
Go to the Control Panel (Start > Control Panel) and go to "Display" and click on the Appearance tab. Click on the button that says "Effects" and turn on the checkbox that says "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:" and then make sure the dropdown box below it says "ClearType."
There, now you can have a slightly more enjoyable experience while using the computer. Enjoy. :-)
