Oh honey... I have SO much money...
so yesturday was a strange day indeed,
I went to work at about 5:30pm, so I had half an hour to sit and do nothing. And then Drew returned my phone call and we confirmed plans for today (which made me happy ^_^) so then I was on door duty for the first 45 minutes of my shift. So there I was, standing there beaming like an idiot grinning from ear to ear.
Now here's where it gets bizarre.
Because of that, a guest called the restaurant a few hours later to "tell me what a wonderful i was doing" and yes that made me feel good, but then she asked if I was hapy where I worked and then dropped a "do you want a job making 1000 a week part time?". So safe to say i was just like WTF??? I took down her name and made an appointment. I was freakin out a little because something like this has never happened to me before. So I told my bosses of course, and Olivia, the 2nd in command was pissed. Not at me, at the woman who had the nerve to CALL me while I was working and try and steal me away.
And as i talked about it with various people, I really started to realize just how shady the whole thing seemed. I did know the woman's last name, where I was supposed to meet her, or her phone number. Then the fact that she had said I'd be making $1000 a week in a "deli company" or whatever started to sound unreal and could infact involve something illegal. Then I spoke to Asila Etnasnoub and Ian they seemed to think it sounded like a pyramid operation which did make sense. So over all I got less enthused about this whole idea. I called Olivia today to apologize for the night before and reassure her I have no intentions of leaving what-so-ever. She said there was no need for me to apologize since I did nothing wrong. She just said i did everything I was supposed to do which made me feel happy that things are working out well at this job. Anyway, I better go, I have things to do. Arrivedercí!
