Pony Con
Goal was to wake up around 4:30am and start getting ready... needless to say my body said "Hell NO" to that idea... Hid my alarm clock without realizing it...
Anyways woke up at 6:00 ran and got things together in a panic, tossed quick foods in for breakfast/snacks and ran to the station. Missed the 6:15 train, but luckily caught the 6:30 from Colchester to London Liverpool Street... from there found the tube and got to Euston and walked to Euston Sq. Station.. and from there eventually ended up at Birmingham New Street.
Made it to the con, wasn't as big as I had hoped but was still a LOT of ponies in one place at one time. Parused, looking at each stand comparing prices and looking for specifics. Found my targets after a second look and snagged some of them. Met some really awesome people. Got ponies. Participated in "The Weakest Link: Pony Style". Had nummy food cause was starving by 3:00pm. Then eventually got to the station again and had a smoothie, mmm.
Train travel repeated as above only backwards... arrivin round 10:30pm. Got to the house around 11:00ish. Made dinner. Am tired...
Lookit the ponies!!! Most are UK exclusives, and the rest were childhood ones. Had I had an extra tenner I so would've picked up the G1 September Birthflower pony... but eh I can find her online I hope.
