Batman Begins is the epitome of what a comic-book movie should be. Both Spider-Man movies were amazing at getting us to care for the characters, while Batman Begins has perfected it. What an amazing flick... I want to go and watch every other Batman movie (all of which I bought last week). Even Batman and Robin. :)
I got my car painted and the rust removed, but for what? I brought it in for inspection today, and the frame and undercarriage are both in bad shape. Somehow, I'm not terribly surprised. The money being flushed down the toilet (as we speak), we're looking into getting me a new car. It'll be rough, but I'll be able to manage, so long as I get enough hours, or another position (that won't happen for a little bit, however).
I guess the positive in this is that I might be able to get a new car. One with A/C, and a sound system that doesn't rock the door panels off. heh
We sent the Sentra back to the guy who painted it to see if he could do anything about the numerous holes in the bottom of my car - as you can see by the above paragraph, my outlook about that car isn't too great. Ah friggin' well.
Finally, I am also bummed about priorities, and people who stick to theirs. :)
Mitch, it really blows that we probably won't end up going to the races, but we tried to git'r dun, and it's good that you've got a much straighter head on your shoulders than myself. In fact, I think the reason I didn't get the Mariott job a couple years back because of this trip. hehe Glad you're not making the same mistake.
I am bummed you might not come, but I realize that a good friend'll still be here when I get back.
Who else's ass would I kick in online racing? *winks*
