Since LiveJournal ate the last entry, I'm gonna try this again. Bastard.....
I've felt accomplished over the past few days, doing various things that I've been meaning to do.
First, I installed the house air conditioner with the help of my neighbor. Things have been cool ever since.
Then I got a row of fire wood done, and even though it is leaning a tad, it's sturdy.
I got around to dropping the car off to get a paint and rust job, not to mention to remove the dings that have seemingly accumulated ever since I started working at a grocery store (sorta).
I had just finished mowing the lawn when I decided to update yesterday, so I was going with that in the entry. Good times.
I've also worked out a bunch over the past few days. Lighter weights, more reps. Feels like it burns more than with heavier weights. Feels good.
Saturday was great (and a sign that I needed to work out). I got to hang out with Matt, Alyssa, Rebecca, Greg, Mitch and Dominique at O'Dell Park, where we played some frisbee and had a little picnic kind of deal. It was fun....
Afterwards, Mitch, Dom and I went to Geary to watch some good ol' fashioned local stock car racing, where it all starts. There were alot of wrecks and alot of good racing, so it was a ton o' fun.
Sunday's race was at Pocono, so that was definitely nice to see. I'm pretty damn psyched for that trip, as always. My aunt's house is for sale, so we *might* have to leave a day later and take a hotel in Southington, CT (15 mins. away). If that's the case, it's no big deal. But then again, that might not come into play at all.
I got an e-mail from my Boss about the summer schedule after I asked to get the weekend of the camping trip off. I got the camping trip weekend I wanted off, but I didn't realize he switched things around so that he had me working the race weekend. SO, I sent him another e-mail (which hopefully isn't annoying him), asking to get those two consectutive weekends off. I feel like a pain in the ass, but here's hoping....
Last night was pretty cool... I got to hang out with Krista Blaikie, whom I haven't seen in ages. It was alot of fun to hang out with her again because she's so damn free spirited and random, not to mention she's my dream girl. lol It'll never, ever happen (if you asked me right now), but she *isn't* the one I was talking about on here.
I'll just have to keep you guys guessing on that one. :)
