Went to the Lunar Rogue last night with some people from the Prospect St. store. A girl who works there is leaving, and they were getting together to hang out and stuff. I went, had a great time, then came home feeling ill. I'm tellin' ya, there's no worse feeling than being out in public, then knowing you're gonna be sick. I made it home fine, though.
Speaking of work, our store got an award; it's based on cleanliness, customer service and pretty much everything else. Funny thing is, my name was omitted from the plaque that is up in our store, but people who have come and gone since I've worked there *are*. lol
Randy called and called, and my name will be put on there, thankfully. It's only a stupid plaque, but I'd like to at least be recognized for something (I personally feel that) I deserve more than one or two of those on the plaque.
I guess the moral of the story is, I hate slackers at work. :)
That soundtrack to Shadows of the Empire is just bloody awesome. It brings me back to '96, '97, when an occasional treat would be to rent a Nintendo 64 with that game, Cruisin' USA, Blast Corps, Mario 64... so many memories.
I went to see The Longest Yard with Kathleen, and Frank Lessard (sorta). It had its moments (all of which were Chris Rock's lines), but it was an overall "bleh" movie... like the goat. "Bleh".
The only person who would get that joke isn't even reading this... I wished she did, but I can't think about that. I shouldn't. I'm not. lol
