Wow!
You know, I just realized I haven't updated this thing in forever. How the hell are my thrilling adventures supposed to be recorded though history if I never remember to put them out on the aether? So anyways, Dallas and I are almost fully moved into the new house. I have to call an electrician to come out and hook up power out in the garage, so we can get the lighting and the arcade game going. The garage is going to be so cool once I get the time to set it all up.
We are having a Battle of Commands tomorrow at work. It's a full day of physical events, picnics, and just general fun things to do. I've been in the navy for almost nine years and this is my first year getting involved in it. One of the guys across the hall from my office came over and said they needed one more guy for the team. I'm going to be in the bowling, canoe, and tug of war events. I going to be the team anchor. I guess being 6'4" 300lbs has its perks. It does make it a bit hard to find clothes that fit me though.
I'm also in the process of looking for a job for when I get out of the navy. The problem with that is I figured I would join the navy until I could figure out what I would do when I grew up. Ask anybody who knows me and they will tell you, I'm never growing up. I think I may have to start my own business. I have always wanted to run my own arcade. Maybe a Dave and Buster's franchise here in CT. That would be the poop. I still have one more year to figure it out.
