Leave a comment and I'll tell you five things I associate with you. And then you post about those five things, and invite others to have you tell them what you associate with them!

Here's what weasel_1313 associated with me:

1. ever changing hair color
I get bored and change my hair. I've always dyed it, but usually the same color...it didn't start changing more often until after I cut my hair short the first time a couple of years ago. It got crazy this summer in Iowa when I went from Red to black underneath with bleached red that quickly faded to orange...and then purple. Just cut my hair again with bangs this time. Playing around with dying it blue or maybe purple again.

2. angry at your parents rock
I was angry at my parents? Not really, just angry as a teenager. It was a good outlet for anger that I didn't want to inflict on others or myself at the time. I don't listen to new angry music much anymore, but I do listen to old school korn every now and then. Really, I just like rock.

3. forcing yourself to be social
If I don't force myself to be social I become a moody, reclusive person so I like to do things so that I don't become my mother. Freshman year was a bad trip and I don't want to repeat it.

4. trying to carve out a life with that damned theatre degree
Think I'm doing okay with that compared to a lot of people I graduated with. I'm working with KidsActing which isn't always legit theatre but it's close enough. Working on starting up a costume business with Sonia which sorta plays into using my theatre degree- at least all the costume stuff I've learned. It's a long term plan which is kind of scary but it's with the idea of making a life for myself.

5. austin vs anywhere else
Austin is cool and I love it but it is NOT for everyone unlike what most 'weird austinites' preach. I don't feel like I am a typical Austin person but I do love the south austin vibe. I just wish there were more (well, bigger) theatres to work with. I'd rather live in Austin than anywhere else in Texas, because it's a big city but not THAT big of a city. I feel overwhelmed by Houston and can only imagine what living in Dallas would be like.
