(no subject)
rawr...man it's been ages. hehe.
well, to catch most of you up to what i'm doing, in januaray i started nursing school. jan 3rd to be exact, and it's now the 25th and i adore school. i haven't had this much fun, or learned so much in quite some time. leaving odu and starting up at sentara was quite possibly the smartest move i've made in my life. don't get me wrong classes are difficult and very challenging, there's soooooo much we are expected to know, but for once i'm involved in something that really fits me, aside from music of course, but that's a given.
i'll will graduate in october of 2006, and then take the NCLEX in december, roughly, so by this time in two years i should be a full fledged RN, ready to practice her heart out. i've been looking into BSN programs, since sentara is only a hospital diploma program, and it should be surprisingly easy for me to 'upgrade'. i've taken many gen. ed. courses at ODU and of course sentara covers the basic nursing education, so there will only be a few classes left for me to take. i'm thinking about moving up north, perhaps chicago, or michigan. we'll see. i definitly want to live in the city for a little bit, and depaul is an amazing school/hospital, so chicago seems to fit extremely well. but who knows. by that time i could have met the love of my life and be planning a wedding...it's all up in the air for now.
i'm looking for a job again. i'm trying to find something within the sentara system, or perhaps at CHKD...nothing nurse related, but perhaps clerical type stuff. i'm pretty handy with a computer, and i should also have plenty of time to study, plus working in a hosptial is never a bad thing for someone hoping to work in one someday! ^_____^ or maybe i'll go work at Waldenbooks. then i could get a book discount....mmmmmm...manga....
so, yeah, that's the just of what i'm up to, i love my life right now. no significant other. don't have time for one. i've made tons of new friends, whom i have so much fun with. oh yeah, brennt, i'm still hoping to come visit, but it's looking like i won't be able to until the summer...soo...hopefully you'll still be there?! we can visit chicago and see if it really will suit me! teehee
nothing more to say really. i haven't bought any new manga, although i'm starting to develop and interest in Sensual Phrase, and xxxHolic/Tsubasa...as well as the ba-zillions of other mangas that have seductively drawn me in. *sigh*
