9 Days
Nine days until we meet our puppy! Still no photo identifying the one that's ours. Frustrating.
A puppy shower tonight, which is deliciously silly and fun and wonderful. I don't know how many people are going, in part because I believe that many are under the impression it's a surprise, and so haven't mentioned anything to T or me. The hostess insisted that we invite a lot of people, so it might be a full house. We'll see. In any case, it will be fun to see friends and talk puppy talk. Then tomorrow, we finish fencing in the rest of our yard. Next comes dog-ifying the interior. Next week will be busy!
I am definitely scattered mentally, and anxiety is starting to creep through the excitement. Considering I almost threw up on the morning I adopted my first cat, I can only imagine what the trip to Alabama to get our puppy will be like. My poor husband...
