I tell y'all, my husband is amazing.
For dinner tonight, he took two ribeye sandwich cutlets (a nice cheap cut) and pan-fried them in butter. Then he took an orange and sectioned it, and sliced up an avocado. He whisked together some sherry vinegar, a bit of mashed avocado, a tiny bit of the orange juice in a bowl.
The assembly went: crusty roll, steak, avocado slice, arugula (rolled in the dressing), and a few orange sections.
AMAZING. So tasty. The tang of the citrus vs. the creamy avocado vs. the bite of the vinegar vs. the savory goodness of the steak vs. the crust of the roll was HEAVEN.
