It's funny. When we do goal setting with the seniors in my health group, they have to confirm if it's something they WANT TO DO. It has to be something they feel good about doing and want to do. Looking over my goals, I think I THOUGHT I wanted to do them, but some of them I just really really don't.
I really like this idea, Jo. Im SO terrible about keeping goals i set though (i tried the whole Mission 101 thing.....epic fail) but i really need to work on some better goal setting/achieving stratagies!
Well, like Dora was saying above, it's all about goals you WANT to achieve. I tried the Mission 101 thing too and it was just too abstract and overwhelming. This format is easier for me because I've got a deadline, I can concentrate on a few things, and if I miss a couple, I can choose to roll them over to the next month. Try it!
