The Priest Wants To See You *cue mobster music*
Father Peter's secretary called me out of the blue today and wanted to see if we could meet with him this Saturday. We can do it and we will, but I feel really unprepared. Besides the fees for the service, chanter, altar assistant, and organist, we have to bring my baptismal certificate and Wyl's (or his baptismal date, and fax over the cert later). I'm also kinda nervous because Wyl and I are living together, with the obvious implications, and also he's Catholic with no plans to convert.
I think the latter will be less of an issue than the former; Father Peter is young and progressive (he looks like Freddie Mercury!), so I hope the former won't be that much of a big deal. I hope the meeting is more centered around how we met, what we're doing now, what our plans are, how we plan to raise our kids, etc. Those are easy questions. And then we'll see him again on Memorial Day weekend for GREEKFEST YAYS.
