GIF Making

Feb 03, 2007 23:16

This is mostly for Squidy and Jean, because i didn't get to answer their question the other day.

I did say it varies. It depends on how many slides there are, how easy the slides are to 'erase-a-portion-draw-over-the-same-picture' and whether i'm tired/going out of my way to make it quickly for people to see/distracted/other.

For a short (5-7 slides), easy gif eg: 'huzzah' (as shown in the piccy), it only takes around 15 mins.
Short, not-so-easy gif, eg: 'nerida crossing stuff out': maybe 20.
Long, but easy gif, eg: 'burn that piece of paper!!!': 25ish
Long, not-so-easy, eg: 'throwing ball of paper at wall': 30 mins.

All of above is "on a good day", where i'll sit down and intend to make these gifs. On a crappy day, i'll just complete the drawings and leave 'converting those bitmap files into gif files' for later.

Hmm, i want a 'currently playing go' gif. A 'snerk, heh' gif would be good too.
