Author's Note: I was bored one afternoon and told my flist to prompt me. I got several prompts. And thus, posting them all here so it's nice, neat and edited. :D
Pin. Cosplay?
Prompt: Suits. Ties. Pin for
phonestrap Yamapi comes home after the Weeeek PV shooting still wearing the suit they'd given him. Tegoshi had accidentally spilled juice onto his regular clothes and the staff promised to wash it, but it wouldn't get done in time for him to go home. So, they'd allowed him to go home in the suit.
When he arrives, Jin takes one look at him, tilts his head to the side and asks seriously, "Are we cosplaying today? Had I missed that memo?"
Yamapi gives him a dry look. "We were shooting the PV today."
Jin's eyes light up. "You're dressed as a salary man for the PV?"
"Yes," Yamapi sighs, loosening the tie. "We're all dressed like salary men." He plops onto the couch, exhausted.
Jin makes his way over, straddling Yamapi with a smirk which only prompts Yamapi to raise an eyebrow. "Does that mean I get to undress you?"
Yamapi mirrors the smirk. "Only if I get to do the same."
"I thought that went without saying," Jin teases as he starts to unbutton Yamapi's shirt.
"Well, it deserved saying."
Ryopin (Gen). Paper Airplanes.
Prompt: RyoPin, gen, friendship, paper airplanes for
nishikido_rheyo Yamapi remembers being juniors and competing over who could make their paper airplanes the fastest.
Jin'd always managed to get his done the fastest, but his would never fly the farthest - or somestimes, not even at all. Ryo'd make fun of his airplanes and Jin'd pout, snapping for him to do better.
Ryo's airplanes would always be the best. Ryo said that it was because he always did pay attention to detail the most. Yamapi thought it was just because he had really small fingers back then and would be able to fold everything really exact. Ryo'd throw something at him after he said that.
Yamapi's airplanes would vary, but he always ended up being in the middle. His planes would be sturdier than Jin's, but not as precise as Ryo's. He'd make his slower than Jin's, but at least faster than Ryo's. He liked to think that was where he really was when it came to them - the middle link that tied them all together.
In the end, they'd each stand outside some balcony, or just somewhere high - one time, it'd been at the top of a hill - and just throw them into the air.
Jin'd say that he made a wish on his, saying that it'll take his dreams and make them come true. Ryo'd joke that nothing would come of that, seeing as how Jin's planes never went anywhere. But Yamapi would admit the next second that he made a wish too. And Ryo'd grudgingly have to say he did the same. And they'd dream up things that only young kids would want.
They don't do this anymore. Sometimes Yamapi wishes he was back to that time when all that mattered was being together and flying their planes side-by-side. He can't remember when it became more about the making of the planes than the dreams.
Koyama/Yamapi/Ryo. Peanut butter and Jelly.
Prompt: Koyama/Pi/Ryo - "If I'm the peanut butter, who's the jelly?" for
nihongofrancais "You'd be the peanut butter," Yamapi declared in a flourish as he pointed his peanut butter and jelly sandwich at Ryo.
Ryo and Koyama exchanged looks before Ryo asked, "What?"
"In a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you'd be the peanut butter!" Yamapi repeated, giving Ryo a face like he should've known automatically waht he'd meant.
Koyama coughed lightly. "Where'd this come from?"
Yamapi shrugged. "Why not?"
"If I'm the peanut butter, who's the jelly?" Ryo asked, leaning on his hand. Koyama threw him a look as though to ask why he was helping Yamapi along. Ryo only shrugged in reply.
"Koyama!" Yamapi chirped before taking another bite of his sandwich.
"And you'd be the bread?" Koyama asked, finally succumbing to their pace.
Yamapi shook his head, eyes twinkling. "Nope! I'd be the person that eats you." Koyama and Ryo both rolled their eyes.
Shigepi. Virtual People.
Prompt: Instant messaging for
stepcie "I just don't understand!" Yamapi flails, throwing himself onto the table. "Why exactly is it fun to talk on your COMPUTER? Isn't that what the phone is for?"
Shige sighs. "It's just like texting. Only a lot faster. You text a lot, don't you?"
Yamapi stares at Shige. "No."
Shige blinks. "My mistake then. But a lot of people use instant messaging. You could meet people from all over the world."
"How do you do that?" Yamapi asks, genuinely curious.
"Um..." Shige pauses a little here, wondering how he should explain this. "Well, you can meet people through other places."
"Sites, right?" Yamapi inputs, proud that he actually knows something.
"Yes, there's a lot of them. And well... If you get close, you can exchange contact information."
"Wait!" Yamapi stops Shige short. "Isn't that... dangerous? I mean, you meet them online. And well, you really don't know them know them. So why would-"
"Not that kind of contact information," Shige says, groaning slightly. "Maybe you should stick to just your phone and real people."
Yamapi nods sadly. "I don't think I'd interact well with virtual people anyway." Shige raises an eyebrow but he doesn't bother to correct him - it'd probably be pointless anyway.
Kusano/Uchi. Rebelling.
Prompt: Rainbow colored highlights for
boycottbananas(I can't write either of them so sorry about the fail. XP Also, slightly angsty.)
It's right after Kusano gets suspended that Uchi decides to visit him. He knows what Kusano's going through and he hopes he can somehow lend a helping hand. Get through it. Deal with the harsh realities of getting suspended. Just handle life.
Uchi doesn't expect to arrive at Kusano's place and see Kusano with the most colorful hairstyle he's ever seen before - like he'd dunked his head inside multiple different paint buckets and just let it be. If anything, it looked like a rainbow exploded on Kusano's head.
"Wha-" Uchi started, eyes wide.
For his part, Kusano acted normal - greeting Uchi and letting him inside like nothing was wrong. But Uchi could tell the tinge of pain in Kusano's eyes as he played off the hairstyle like it was nothing. "I don't have to worry about this kind of thing anymore," Kusano joked. "It's a lot more freeing than I expected!"
Uchi stared for a long moment before pulling Kusano into his arms, hugging tightly - trying to keep his heart from beating. "You were really hurt by the suspension, weren't you?"
He could feel Kusano laughing against his chest, hands balling the material of his shirt in fists. "I'm okay!" Kusano said shakily, trying to still keep strong. "I understood my suspension!"
Uchi frowned - sometimes he could just see how Kusano was still a kid, trying to act stronger than he actually was, act older than he really was. He shouldn't have to grow up before his time, Uchi thought. "But not the group?"
The laughing came to a stop quickly and Kusano's grip on his shirt got tighter. "I took the suspension myself," Kusano said quietly. "They shouldn't have been punished too. Shouldn't've."
And within seconds, Uchi could feel Kusano's silent tears against his chest, but he didn't say anything about it. He just held Kusano tighter - hoping he could ease the worries of the youngest group member, let him know it'll be okay. They'll all be okay.
When Kusano's crying came to a close, Uchi pulled back smiling. "They'll be fine. We can get through this," Uchi said cheerfully. "But first, let's get rid of that stupid hairstyle. You look like a rainbow attacked you and won."
Kusano laughed - a little shaky, but real nonetheless. "Hey!" he protested, allowing himself to be led to the bathroom. "I think it suits me."
Uchi only could hear Kusano's laughter and he hoped Kusano wouldn't lose at least that much.
RyoShige. Within Office Doors.
Prompt: Office AU - Ryo is a temperamental development manager and Shige is his unlucky lackey. :), Pairing: RyoShige for
procreational(THIS SHOULD BE A WHOLE THING ON ITSELF. :\\\\ Way to be difficult, Clare. lolol, kidding~ Love you dear. :D)
"Are you stupid?" Ryo snapped, throwing sheets of paper onto Shige's desk. "I told you that these needed to be double-checked and triple-checked. And then, and only then, were you allowed to hand them in."
Shige stared owlishly at Ryo. "I did check them!" he finally said defensively when he found his voice.
"Well, I don't think so by the amount of mistakes I found on the sheets. Just one mistake, Kato and you could've lost us an account that would've afforded that lame tie around your neck," Ryo retorted.
Almost immediately, Shige's hand went around his neck, fingering the tie. "I understand, Nishikido-kun," Shige said, subdued. He collected the papers again and looked up at Ryo. "I'll look them over again."
Ryo nodded in approval. "That's what I wanted to hear." He spun around and headed back into his office.
Once inside, he sighed - sometimes, he wondered why he liked to pick on Shige so much. But then he remembered the sight of Shige looking defensive and his heart started to beat faster. Ryo closed his eyes, willing it to calm down. There were some lines he wouldn't cross.
