TT___TT Why? Why do you hate me so, Irony?
Here's how Koree's day went today.
I didn't get to sleep last night till 2, 2:30? I was knocked out by then so I don't know. I was too excited about this morning at first.
I woke up at 6:30, got dressed, headed out at 7.
I was going to Target.
I got there, sat in the parking lot listening to Jesse McCartney, just trying to keep my mind off of "it", and wait for a while, no big deal. About an hour later I head to the door, close to 8, which is opening time. The whole time I stood there I was CLUTCHING the printout that I got at work for the game, imagining the intro playing over and over in my head. ;____;
Five minutes till and they let us come wait in the foyer, I was the first in line, thinking in my head as I watched customer after customer eye the door: >__> IT'SMINEFIRSTBIZNOTCHES.
D: I get inside at 8:01, race to Electronics, look in the glass case-- TT____TT NO. WHERE IS IT?? >___> NOT ON THE SHELF YET MAYBE??
I track down the tech guy and ask if someone is working that department, D: he disappears to get keys, and some girl shows up and-- ;___; asanine details aside, she told me the game isn't released till TOMORROW.
Me: Tomorrow? But, BUT(!!!) *HOLDS UP PRINT OUT* TT____TT it says the 29th! D: Everyone else has it TODAY!!!
Sales girl: :D OUT OF LUCK. Have a good day!
Me: ;______; .... *trudges back out of the store at 8:06am and heads home to go to first job at 10*

P.S. I did have one perk today, it helped, but for the most part I've just been numb. Nothing else really has any appeal, my energy is low, my hopes dashed. Heh. I'll probably show up tomorrow and find out they released it tonight at midnight and are sold out, or the girl was mistaken, or the store burned down.
