Halloween
Auto-Cours this week was for us all to individually create characters, with dramaturgy, that could be entirely our own, stereotypes, or already-formed fictional characters. We were not allowed to discuss them with other people in the class, and the teachers were not going to attend our performance. The next couple weeks are also going to involve the characters we created this week.
Of course, I chose Magenta. :)
So I got some weird looks on the way to school today, but it's Halloween and I enjoy it, so screw them. Our performance kind of sucked though. We all were just in a circle and then people went up and introduced themselves. I decided Magenta was bored with these proceedings so I sat in a corner and drank cranberry juice and glared at people and laughed when "Jeffrey" got into the "cocaine". There was a small party afterwards so Stacy (Jack the Ripper's cousin Sylvia, originally Mrs. Lovett) and I wandered around trying to get people to come up to the lab (me) or come into the oven (her). Surprisingly, there were few takers. Then everyone left and the rest of us were standing around wondering what had happened.
So Lauren, Caylean, Mel, and I went for lunch. We had soup. And I got more weird looks. Then I got a flu shot and participated in the costume contest and ate some candy and put chocolate bars in my bra and offered them to people and then I discovered that chocolate melts when its held against your boobs. Who knew? Then came home to chill before voice and work.
I'm pretty psyched to work tonight, simply because we get to be in costume. And afterwards there's Michelle's party and I'm not having a beer because that just makes me tired. VODKA FTW!
