Did anyone else know that it's Christmas? Or is it just Seattle?
Because it's been so cold and gray and rainy I'm having serious issues believing that it's September and I have three months to go until I get to come home and see everyone and open presents. Yesterday we made apple cider and chili and cornbread and watched young frankenstein, which didn't help matters.
On Mondays and Wednesdays I don't start class until one. Then I have Text Analysis and then two hours until my Humanities & Sciences class. So a lot of time to kill and today I brought my laptop. Exciting.
Let's see...It's the third week of school. I like my classes/sectionmates/teachers. I don't like the fact that I have to wear sweats three days a week. It's only rained twice (I think). The radiators in our building are interesting and make gurgling noises and our upstairs neighbors walk around REALLY LOUDLY in the middle of the night...
As for Rocky Horror, the joy of going to an art school is that almost EVERYBODY likes it (or has at least heard of it). We went on september first to see it, after a long adventure in which we took a taxi instead of a bus because the busses are liars who don't show up when they say they will. But the show was awesome and other people seem interested in coming next time. Of course, the exception is my roommate, who dislikes RHPS immensely and is undoubtedly ready to kill me.
It's sad that my only free time is in the middle of the day and I can't go home because it's twenty-five minutes away uphill...
