first, can i say that im in LOVE with Thelma Houston's "Don't Leave Me This Way!" simply amazing. i havent stopped listening to it in almost 24 hours. you know how i like to kill a good thing. too bad this is one of those songs. the unkillable. the ones you can overplay. it joins the ranks with ashlee simpson, jimmy eat world, matchbox 20 and many others. the song takes me back to the disco days of roller-rama that ill never get to experience first hand. i can see my mom making laps around that rama, this one of her favorite songs, right up there with dancing queen by abba and the supremes i hear a symphony.
i thought i was dying last week. i still kinda do, but not as much.
thelmas at it again. im 1-1 for sleeping in my bed this week. wait ill count sunday too. 2-1 in favor of my bed. i love my bed. im seriously thinking of ways to steal the mattress. is there a reason i havent checked my horoscope today? time out. says im not done being a rebel. oh well.
isnt it weird that im kinda excited to go home for easter? well i guess its because i get to see family and such. my big family on my dads side. we'll play bullshit (the poker version) and ill most likely get 2nd or 3rd. thats usually how i roll because i trick everyone into secret alliances. even though they dont really exist in that game. we'll all call my grandparents hoovers when the refuse to flip anyone. and we'll all clap when grandpa and grandma get knocked out cause they'll be pissed. we'll then proceed to sing "na na na na na na hey hey hey good bye" with each subsequent player's loss, its really quite beautiful, until we're down to the final two. they'll then battle it out hardcore style as if theyre going for some casino jack pot (really its about 30 dollars at most depending on who all plays and if we use 1's or 5's) im in love with my families gambling addiction.
after gambling with the kuhls ill go to my moms easter dinner late, from the bullshit of course, "I was winning," ill use as my excuse. she'll accept it because mom knows that i can talk everyone into playing uno after dinner. she'll regret uno after i hit her with repeated draw 2's and wild draw 4's. i dont know how but i always end up next to her and i always bombard her with cards. i know she really loves it. in the future if you want to know what im doing on a certain holiday just read this post and substitute easter with the holiday you are wondering about. its usually how we roll and i love it.
