Modern history.
Modern history is a pretty easy class, we basically just go over how major historical events shaped world in which we live.
Sounds reasonable right?
However, the teacher really likes exposing media BS, then linking every major historical event to Stalin. (by the way, everything from decolonisation of Africa to the lost decade of Latin America to the birth of the welfare state was Stalin's fault)
It's been a pretty fun semester; a friend and I take our notes like good little students but in the margins we keep tallies on how many times he exposed media deceptions or links it to Stalin. Usually these tallies reach their mid 20s, which then results in much after class amusement.
Today we are going over the war on terrorism.
Obviously there is tons of media fodder here, but what I want to know is how is he going to link Bush to Stalin?
