"Now when we do these meditations, sometimes we bring to them a high expectation. "Oh, my mind should be calm and peaceful." Instead, however, your actual experience is contrary to your expectations. We expect mind to be so calm and peaceful, but instead mind is so busy, occupied with one thing after another. "How can I stop all this thinking?" You cannot do that. In the case where this happens, you shouldn't worry about that. Actually, [at that very moment], if you are AWARE that your mind is so busy, that in itself is a very, very good quality. You are starting to settle your mind in the right place. At any moment, if you could RECOGNIZE how busy your mind is, this is very good."
