How To Dissapoint a Robot: Ignore It
Today the phone rang. I picked it up and on the other end a woman began to talk.
And the automated woman began "This is the credit card reward..."
and before I could listen to the rest I talked over her saying "Do not call, do not call list!"
And she kept on... "and we're here to inform you that you've won..."
So naturally I pressed the pound sign realizing I had to try, try the pound button.
Make it stop!
Indeed the automated woman gave me a deflated sounding "Goodbye"
As if I should have considered her words..
And for a moment I felt sad-
I disappointed a robot.
