Because I love cool coincidences
This is mostly being made because I know fencer_x will get a kick out of it XD
Right so, I started watching Code Geass today after downloading the first twelve episodes because I was in the mood to listen to Sugiyama Noriaki without resorting to watching Bleach (which I dislike), and the premise for the show sounded interesting.
Plus, Fukuyama Jun does the voice of the main character, and you can't go wrong with him ♥
So I'm watching and I realize this one side-kick character has a really high, almost annoying voice that sounds familiar. Go figure, turns out it's Sugiyama sounding absolutely UN-Sasuke-like, which went and shot my hopes for that down the drain.
Then I realized that the voice of Fukuyama's character (Lelouch)'s best friend, a guy by the name of Suzaku, has a really, really familiar voice as well. These two guys, Lelouch and Suzaku, are childhood best friends and have slash potential written all over them. There's a good chance the series will lean towards it as the show goes on (being a CLAMP production and all) so I was already looking forward to how their relationship progressed.
So, Court, want to guess who does the voice of Suzaku? Who, out of everyone, would make you absolutely DIE once you realized they're working alongside Fukuyama again in a very gay role?
Yeah, it's Sakurai Takahiro, aka Endo Kazuki aka Shibuya Yuuri XDDDD Would you believe it he also does the voice of Kira Izuru?? I really gotta check these guy's profiles more often.
So yeah, totally my new favorite series right now just for the chance to listen to Fukuyama and Sakurai going at it again XDD
