A ghost? Really? Interesting. At the shrine. Even more interesting. I will simply have to take a look for myself while I am learning the layout of this camp. Bu tnumber six... saying that almost hurts my cold little black heart...Almost.

Aside from myself, only two people have seen it. You may not be unfortunate enough.

Heart? Are you trying to tell me you actually have one? Surely you jest.

Atobe, I would not be the unfortunate one, the ghost would be. I doubt even a ghost could sneak up on me. And it is did, I would kill it...again.

But, you wound me. Thus the fact that I prefaced it's existance with the wolds cold, little and black.

Is it possible to kill something that is already dead?

Even with such attributes present, I find myself doubtful.

(OOC: How worrying is it that with each new comment Kite gets closer to the list of exceptions from rule 6?)

I don't know, but I would certianly give it my best shot. If anything, It would be of amusement to me to finally face a worthy opponent, even if only worthy because I cannot touch it.

There is a quaint little saying about a kettle and a pot...

But if you feel you must question the existance of mine, then I shall be more than happy to put to question the existance of yours. Because my shriveled husk of a heart can beat your frozen icecube any day of the week

[ooc: worrying indeed, seeing as how Kite normally can't stand rich bastards like Atobe]

Heh. If you actually succeeded, I'd certainly applaud.

Now, now. I never claimed to have one, did I?

(OOC: Bastard? You're giving him too much credit. "Bitch" would be the more appropriate word.)

I would not need your applause. I would merely be pleased with the fact that I managed to return a wondering spirit to their grave in a most pleasently violent way. But perhaps I should not, seeing as how you seem to so enjoy seeing it.

You did not. I apologize.I apologize to every heart out there for insulting it so by degrading it to being a possession of yours.

[ooc:He's being generous. Though he does so hate to share the Bastard title with anyone]

You would not desire my praise? I assure you, it is very rare that ore-sama decides to applaud any achievement. You mustn't turn the offer down so lightly. And were I not aware that your comment about my enjoyement is merely not-so-witty teasing, I would seriously question your intelligence, in that nobody with IQ even remotely larger than their shoe size could possibly think ore-sama has any feelings of affection for the creature.

Aside from the obvious biological functions, what use is a heart, anyway?

I desire praise from no one, least of all you. And I would think you have people on staff to applaud for you so that you'd not have to hurt those delicate little hands of yours. So, I'm afriad I'll have to pass upon your acclimades.

It seems scarcasm isn't lost on you either. But I could perhaps point out that, in fact, the spirit has affections for you. Why else have you seen it so many times while no one else has? I didn't know you went for Necrophilia but to each his own, I suppose.

Aside from that, I actually would not know, so in that alone, we have something in common.

Oh, no. When ore-sama sees it appropriate to give praise to someone, I shall do it personally. Thankfully, no such occasions have arisen as of yet.

A theory was made about my Insight and its relation to the ghost visibility issue, but then Seigaku's Inui and Kaidou have made a sighting as well, though theirs seems to have been somewhat less clear than my own. I also assure you that even if there is affection there, it is certainly not mutual.

Good God, to think there'd be such a thing! After all, we are quite different in everything else -- for example, you lost to Tezuka.

yes...well then...I shall endevor to make sure I never do anything to receive it.

And your infamous Insight... I suppose there might be some credence to that theory. As there have been others who have seen it as well. But you wil notice, I actually beleive you when you said you saw it.

....... *death glare*

Your loss.

I do make note of that. And believe it or not, I am grateful. I'm quite tired of fools calling my sanity to question simply because I happen to see more than they do.

Oh, no. I wouldn't have happened to hit a somewhat sensitive spot, now would I? I do apologize most profusely.

hitokirikite September 15 2008, 18:26:11 UTC
No. My gain. The moment I find myself actually seeking your praise and accolades is the moment I stop being a man.

It's not about making you grateful. After all, I never questioned your sanity as you surely had none to begin with. But I digress, I beleive it does exist even if it never appears before my myopic eyes.

.......

No. There is not a spot on me that is sensitive to any of your proddings. But I shall accept your apology anyway

Now, now. Even I, in all my excellency, do admit there are a few people I would gladly earn the respect of. Very few, granted, but still. Is my opinion truly all that insignificant to you?

Nevertheless, I must thank you. That is more of a credit than I have received from most other people on this accursed camp.

Hm. We shall see.

(OOC: Congratulations. Kite is now officially one of the exceptions to point 6. >> I wonder what this says about Atobe.)

I beleive you have a rather interesting icon that states my case rather susinctly. But if I must say it, I will. Your opinion means very little at all to me though I will also admit that there are few whom I would want repect from...respect, not fear.

Yes, yes...well don't go broadcasting that about. I give credit where credit is due and I know for a fact there are more things on heaven and earth than we can readily comprehend.

Hnnnn. Prod all you like. I won't let you be the first one here to have the dubious honor of getting me angry.

[ooc: should Kite be happy about that? Kidding, kidding. He considers Atobe an exception as well, probably for the same reason. He won't back down from a challenge and says what he wants when he wants, regardless of whom that person is]

koori_no_king September 15 2008, 18:46:12 UTC
Would this be the icon you are referring to? I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you, though, as you most certainly will not receive any fear from ore-sama.

Most people are simply too stuck on their rather limited views of the world.

Again -- we shall see.

[OOC: Atobe would feel honoured if he ever allowed himself to feel such a thing. (.^_~) And those do sound like quite the same reasons -- that and Atobe finds these conversations increasingly amusing.]
