Ore-sama... did not sleep well.

Tachibana? Were you by any chance outdoors last night? Say, around 2AM? For the love of God, tell me you were.

(OOC: Atobe walked in his sleep last night, waking up near the steps to the shrine. He briefly saw a human figure resembling Tachibana there.)

tachibana, shrine, lack of sleep, not feeling well at all, ghost

I was sleeping by that time. It was a school night.

(ooc: He's dying to ask why, but he thinks it's lame, and hopes Atobe will tell him anyway.)

...Strange. I could have sworn I saw you.

Maybe you were dreaming?

Unlikely, though naturally possible, considering the time. However, I am quite certain I was awake; I have never had such realistic dreams.

Oh?

(ooc: now he's dying to tease him about "seeing such realistic dreams about him". But Tezuka might read this post, and he has a reputation to uphold.)

I... walked in my sleep, I suppose... (Though I wonder why; I never have before.) I suddenly woke up to find myself at the stairs to the shrine -- and I saw you. You were standing at top of the stairs.

(OOC: Awww, poor Tachibana, not getting to do as he wants...)

That sounds like a dream to me. Well, anyway, I wasn't there.

If it was merely a dream, kindly explain how I managed to get dirt on my feet. And if it wasn't you, then who?

(OOC: Atobe's inwardly semi-panicking but won't show it no matter what.)

Oh, I don't know.

A ghost?

...All too likely.

(OOC: Aww, thanks. So kindly feeding his worst fears~)

I have no idea why the ghost would look like me, so it's unlikely. Besides, I don't believe in ghosts.

Maybe I was sleep walking, heh. Or then you were just dreaming and the dirt came from somewhere else.

Well, I have no idea why I would be sleep walking for the first time in my life, either. And as for believing in ghosts, neither did I until arriving at this damned place. God, I want back to England. Or home. Whatever. Somewhere away from haunted pagan shrines.

Oh, sure. That's it. I just imagined my walk back to my room and the dirt and the cold. Hell, I can show you the dirt on my pyjama pants if you don't believe me.

Okay, so this is what I think:

If there's a ghost, then exorcise it. (Or call someone else to exorcise it for you, you're good in that aren't you?)

If there's not, accept it was a dream and move on. Are you seriously offering to show me your pyjama pants?

I don't mind the ghost being there. I'd just like to know exactly why I seem to be the only one who can see it. And why the Hell I seem to end up close to the shrine even when I have every intention of staying away from there. (Besides, I don't know if Christian exorcism would work here, and I refuse to consider anything else.)

Can you not read?

I so can read. Why would publicly offer to show me your pyjama pants?!

Well, maybe it likes you. Or you were daydreaming.

Sure you can. I never said they'd be on me.

Surely you jest.
