longest entry ever
so i decided to come home between my shifts at work. i only work 4 days this week which is nice so i can get a break from working 40 hours a week for the past 2 months. im still looking for another job preferably dayshift so i can keep the restaurant gig. any ideas from anyone would help a lot. a girl from work sells insurance for aflac and she said maybe i should try it out (you know the commercial where the duck keeps quacking 'aflac') and she made just under $100,000 for the year. its 100% commission but i dont think ill have a problem selling. i wont make $100,000 but itll be enough to save up for the fire academy.
i got a new cell phone wednesday. its cool as hell and it DOES NOT have a camera in it. its from the new line of sprint phones and it has a speakerphone and its walkie talkie capable, only if someone else has the same phone. spongebob is my background :)
i got a ticket yesterday. blew right through a fucking red light on a side street. i wasnt even paying attention because i was watching the goddamn cop sitting up ahead on the side so i had to check my speed to make sure i wasnt going over the speed limit which had just dropped to 25 (which i wasnt) so i went right thorough it. catherine called her dad and asked him if he could do anything about and he said that he could check and to him call back. that would really make my year if he can clear it up. the last thing i need is for my insurance to go up especially when im looking to get a new car sometime this spring/summer.
next weekend is traverse city with catherine and he friends. thrursday friday and saturday in a rented condo just skiing, riding snowmobiles and other cool crap that im told. i really cant wait to go because i love it up there. its so beautiful and clean up there. i would love to live up there year round or even get a cabin a few years down the line.
i cant wait for spring and summer to get here. everyone is always in such a better mood and i feel just flat out happier. im sick of frigid snow and ice all over. today was kind of a relief but with the rain its not the same. i just cant wait to get out there on the grass and play some soccer or baseball in the sun. god i hate winter. february has to be the worst month of them all. i sure hope its a leap year this year (sorry to those with february birthdays).
