That, I am. Or just a night owl. Or.. just weird. But that's nothing new, is it?

So, first semester at UTD. Which probably should have occurred.. years and years ago. Oh well.. I'll be done. In the.. not.. so near future. But I'll be done, I think.. I have 6 classes.. across 3 campuses. Cal 2 at Richland, Linear Algebra at CCCC (yet another campus to add to my list) cause it's not offered by DCCCD. One online class. So it's kinda like 4 different locations..

I remember the last time I had 6 classes.. 2nd semester at UTA. Physics, Cal 1, Bio, Stats, English Composition 2 or w/e, and Government. First three had labs (a math lab.. I still think it's ridiculous) so it was like 24 hours in class. And I'm still going through the same shit and for the semesters to come. Sigh.

Damn math classes.. should be easy. But it's taking a bit of effort to relearn things that I learned four years ago, and not very well learned, might I add. I don't understand degree requirements. I'm not gonna ever differentiate anything or have matrices to compute. Nor do I understand the point of grasping the ability to compute shit by hand. Even if the world went to hell somehow and no TI calculators can be found, I am sure as hell no one will really care about being able to compute matrices by hand. Not saying it's not important knowledge.. just.. not important to.. just about everyone. Why can't it just stop at... algebra. Or w/e is before algebra. Like.. the stuff we learned in fourth grade is a good stopping point, I'd say.

Anyways, yea. I don't like math. Not that it's hard or anything. I would just rather sit through lectures of taxation laws or something equally mind numbing, but useful. Which is why it bothers me that I only have to take 4 accounting electives and a necessary 2 (upper) non-business electives. I would actually prefer being able to take extra classes over managerial accounting, auditing, and taxation than.. taking some easy A class as an elective. I know it's designed to make a well-rounded degree. But I'd rather be a well-rounded accountant than know a little more than say.. art history, advanced art history that is. Or w/e is upper and easy.

I'll be done next year. Then I will work a year or two and then start on my masters. Then I can get my CMA designation a year or two after my masters. And to end it all I can attempt to run a company to the ground for fun. Too early to say for sure.. but I'm thinking working as an independent auditor or consultation after getting my masters or cma. sometime down the road. preferably auditing. i can travel. It's hard to start a small business. so I don't want to be responsible for my bad advice. So that's the plan. And it with any other plan of mine, it doesn't work. Sooo if I'm gonna do anything accounting related later with such a degree it'll probably be for.. a shitty mall booth of someone's. I'm sure those generates tons of paperwork.

On another note, I got around to watching this year's Miss Vietnam Global dvd last week. Not exactly as prestigious as donald trump's thing; it's just a big show really. Anyways, this year's winner is from seattle, just like last year's. Bit odd if you ask me. Didn't figure seattle to have much of a viet population.. everyone is in texas or cali. But it's actually not much less then dallas. I should move there. and make beauty pageant winning babies. har.. that's.. impossible with my genes in the mix.
