...is an amazing movie. Everyone go see it. Now.
In case you're totally out of the loop, it's this Al Gore film about global warming and it's ridiculously powerful.
So basically everyone is gonna blow up and die in 50 years and the world is gonna drown, so that should be fun.
But in all seriousness. Go see it.
There was this one part where they showed a picture of earth taken from 654343843512365 billion miles away. It's this tiny little dot. Mind-blowing. I mean, everything having to do with us and out existence took place on that tiny speck. The entire history of man-kind is only the latest addition. Every element of our being, every moment in my life and your life and the lives of every other person who ever existed took place on that speck. Big moments in history like wars, or the formations of countries to big moments in everyday life, like weddings and sweet sixteens. Births and deaths. Everything on that dot.
It's crazy to think about.
And it made me realize how ridiculously minuscule even the "biggest" of my troubles are. They really really really don't matter. So why do I stress over little things when there is, in point of fact, entirely no need. I shouldn't hesitate from doing or saying something because of what "consequences" they'll bring. It doesn't matter. Nothing is significant.
So I was sitting there at Hollywood Hits, watching this documentary, and all of this just rushed into my head in seconds or less. It was a total moment. So powerful. And even if this frame of mind only lasts for a short while, it was amazing.
