Judging From Your Smile

This is a song I wrote a while back for someone I really cared about. Unfortunately, he's long gone now and wasn't quite the person he seemed to be. Nonetheless, I love the way this song turned out and I love how it sounds even better. Unfortunately, I can only type it up for your enjoyment.

Running from the waves before they have the chance to wash under our feet-I'm flying through the air and I catch your lips upon my cheek-Sometimes I feel like nothing could be better-and I would give anything for this-

Yeah, I'll keep my hair down, and sing every song for you. I'll open up the window, let the stars shine right through. And though my happiness might fade, and I'd turn a little blue, I'll still love you. And judging by your smile I'd say, you love me too.

Catching bubbles on our tongue, you funny face makes me smile-skating through the streets with you hand in mine, I could go like this for miles and miles-And I want this feeling to last forevver-to melt within those crystal eyes-

Yeah, I'll keep my hair down, and sing every song for you. I'll open up the window, let the stars shine right through. And though my happiness might fade, and I'd turn a little blue, I'll still love you. And judging by your smile I'd say, you love me too.

Lying in the grass, my head on your chest-and I smile into the sunlight 'cause this is the best...I've ever felt-And I thank God I have you here with me-to witness this love meant to be-

Yeah, I'll keep my hair down, and sing every song for you. I'll open up the window, let the stars shine right through. And though my happiness might fade, and I'd turn a little blue, I'll still love you. And judging by your smile I'd say, you love me too...
