Stuffs!
Whoo, 2008! Figured I'd through out some stuff since I'm kinda bored.
No new job offers yet. I put my resume out to a few more places a couple of days ago. I'm hoping some of them will call back relatively soon. I may in the mean time have to get a temp job doing retail somewhere. I know Meijer probably wouldn't mind having me back but if I do go back there I'm gonna try and not be a cashier again. Just need to get some cash in the pocket and quite frankly as much as I love all this free time, I'm quite bored.
Christmas was awesome. I got a brand new 20 inch flat panel TV. That was more of a Christmas/Graduation gift which I don't mind. I also got Command and Conquer 3 as well as Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass. Zelda is just a blast, I recommend anyone with a DS to pick it up. C&C3 is fun but I haven't been playing it as much. Might just be me and not being in that much of a rts mood. I'm sure I'll get back into it. I also got The Obsidian Trilogy to read from my girl as well as the D&D 3.5 Monster Manual. The Obsidian Trilogy books are really quite good and fun to read. Has a real nice flow to it and have been enjoying them a lot. And of course I also got some nice new clothes, some casual some work which is always good. My parents kind of screwed up on one of my presents and wrapped one of my brother-in-law's gifts to me. How do I know that? Well when I saw the blue and gold and the evil 'M' on the hoody I figured it wasn't for me =P It's all good though. They said I could pick a new gift and told them since the new Ork codex is coming out soon that they could get that for me. Should be able to pick that up tomorrow. I can't wait really, I've already seen it and am quite pleased. They said the codex should be in tomorrow at least. I'm hoping some of the new models will be there as well since I'd like to pick up the new Ork Boyz box. Looks like it has some nice bits that I can't wait to put together.
My birthday's coming up soon. The 25th for any interested. I think I might try and make a trip over to East Lansing to hang with some friends, play some 40k, goto a bar, or just chill with peeps in general. Should be some fun times!
