Yeah, I am well aware of the suckage that is Hollywood. TV shows and movies have been terrible and declining in quality for a long time now.

Artists and non-corrupted production have a theory and believe eventually media will develop its own format and delivery system. Separate from the corporations that are so desperately trying to make more millions and billions for the 1% of Hollywood. Eventually it will be streamed media from the creators themselves. Collecting profits separate from the major production companies. A form of delivery that is more affordable, but most of all, better quality because it is created by the artists. Not the companies.

Eh. ABC is a shitshow for me. They ruined Lost. Theres a prime example of a distribution company telling writers they can't write about things. So many writers quit Lost after season 1 because of the mandates and rejections the company gave the writers on their ideas for the show. It would have been so original if they weren't blocked. And lo and behold, a lot of those writers are running Fringe. Where they are not held back.

As for Fringe, I recommend you jump to the second to last episode of the third season. All the big parts are already established in the episodes you've seen. Peter is the key to the machine. Olivia is in love with Peter. And Walter is terrified of the machine and what it might do to Peter. The way they fuse the character stories and the scifi story is truly epic. Its all heart and geekdom. That episode and the finale, you have to watch. Some of the most epic and original episodes on television.

Well you're probably totally right about that entertainment revolution, and that will be an interesting world to live in. I remember a few years before they ever did this, one video blogger on youtube (Renetto, kind of a crazy dude) said that he was sure youtube would eventually start paying their content creators for their work. And then a couple years later it happened with partner accounts. And now you have families like The Shaytards living completely off of youtube making six digits off of their video blogs. And that's completely off a minuscule percentage of ad-revenue alone. Nobody pays to watch that "show."

I never gave up on ABC. I still watch a lot of their stuff and I feel like Lost was kind of a special case. I mean, all the big networks have their quirks and pet projects and whatnot, but I feel like they do have some good content on there. I have kind of given up on Happy Endings though. I don't know it's just not my favorite anymore. (Modern Family on the other hand is always good, but never memorable for some reason.)

Oh I forgot about Modern Family. LMFAO. You're right. I watch it, yet never remember that I do. Its always enjoyable. And the casts chemistry is just undeniable. It really is what makes the show. The writing can be clever, but its all about the charisma of the actors. Tried Happy Endings and never saw the appeal. Some funny actors, but eh.

You'd be surprised at how involved the distributors are. Its kind of sickening. Theres a reason there are so many skits, cartoons, and Family Guy episodes about it. They really are that vile and void of any substance.

I kind of love that my field, no matter the revolution of media delivery systems, will always be there. Even if it was something along the lines of Youtube or Hulu, we would just get hired by them. The crisis we are going through is taxation, outsourcing, and no unions. Like a lot of industries. But there seriously is so little work here in the USA now. For us. Why I am moving to Canada. Always been a lot of our work up there, always will be. And I went with a Canadian company too, just in case the US gets its act together and starts reducing the amount of taxes on our work. Liked that Obama brought that up. Hopefully something can be done about it. But I am so absolutely, completely disappointed with him that I don't care if he does. The entire NDAA cover up and execution was so vile and disgusting that I lost all respect for him. There was this truly disturbing video released of the interrogation of this 15 year old kid. It was after all the torture and isolation games they played with him. All I can think while watching it is -- seriously? This asswipe who preaches human rights and talks down to the rest of the world about it -- does this? And to children no less? So ashamed I voted for such a container of shit. Not saying I would've voted for the alternative. But I consider a vote to be a precious thing. And Id rather not vote at all, than support someone like that.

Ignoring the political commentary, lol.

I don't understand how MF can be so enjoyable, yet so forgettable at the same time? It doesn't make sense. I haven't really been into Happy Endings this season. I liked it last season but this season it's even more off the wall and I just have a hard time enjoying the eps.

I am such a scripted TV junkie but I have been kinda disappointed lately in a lot of my regular shows. It's frustrating and I hope it picks up. I keep saying "get better or die trying" for certain shows, and some of them are doing a pretty good job of it, but some of them need to work harder. I would rather see them canceled than sucking.

You should definitely move to Canada. I'd love it there, personally. Especially the west coast where it rains a lot. (I'm weird that way.)

Heh. Political part was fresh in my mind because they used Canada was involved in that case. Truly sick stuff. Ive lost all the illusions this government has instilled in my mind. A lot of people still buy it. Which is sad. Because it shows how long it will be before anything truly gets better. Both parties are corrupt, power hungry, tools. They don't give us different options. The limit our options. Does it really matter if you vote for Democrat? They just act like Republicans when they are elected anyways, lol. I hope there is a day in the future when the parties are gone. They've done nothing but divide and slowly destroy this country over the most repulsive, petty, obnoxious garbage. I still scratch my head when the defining differences between parties are gays being able to get married.

I don't care that MF isn't memorable. I enjoy it. All that matters.

I get the scripted part. The only show keeping up is Fringe. Even Dexter has slipped a lot. There has been some really great moments in season 6. But, its just not the same intelligent, sardonic writing. It lost its clever qualities.

Lol thats why I didn't move to Vancouver. I like rain. Love it actually. But in Vancouver, it rains from November to April. Non stop. And its not pleasant rain. Its freezing rain. I really wanted to move to a city, city. Metropolis type of city. And Toronto has all four seasons. Cold as hell winter with snow, nice spring, hot summer, and absolutely gorgeous fall. The reason a maple leaf is their flag kind of pretty. I am also really in love with how liberal it is there. They have so many common sense laws that just completely evade america, LOL. And they are so random and all over the place. But whenever you discover a new one, you're like "Holy shit that is awesome, fuck America.". And its not even ground breaking or even that awesome. We're just so accustomed to how retarded it is here.
