Alright alright. . .

Back by popular demand, it's my journal. You may have been wondering why I skipped half of February and the entire month of March. But my guess is that you haven't been wondering, and don't really mind anyways. Well for those of you that don't care, too bad, because you're getting an update right here right now.

The reason I haven't updated is a combination of being to busy, too lazy, and having nothing of substance to write down. I wish that sentence could have had parallel structure, but that's my luck, I suppose. I have yet to bag a summer internship with any company whatsoever. There is one last hope, and if they don't respond to me by Wednesday, I'm going to search for money through alternative means: begging all the professors in my department to put me on their research group. That may mean that I have to commute to Ann Arbor over the summer, but I really don't mind.

I just took two exams last Monday. The ME 211 exam I did alright on, but I wasn't worried about that one to begin with anyways. It's the MSE 335 exam that's got me worried. I think I scored about 20% on it, but I don't think I'll be that lucky. From what I hear, though, most people did terribly on it. Either way, I'll find out on Monday. I also have to complete my UROP research poster by Tuesday evening. It shouldn't be too hard, as I don't really care about it, and will most likely get an A in the class anyways. But I just don't really want to do it.

On the personal front, nothing as of yet has changed. I'm still single, so for all you ladies out there, jump in any time.

School will be over in three weeks. Isn't it great? Then I'll be able to come home, and sit around for a while. That is if I don't get a job. But regardless, I'll get to escape the hell of dorm life and get some decent food for a change. The food's been getting progressively worse here. I swear that I've been fed human kidneys on at least two occasions since Spring Break. And they weren't even well-seasoned. They tasted like crap. If you're going to feed someone human kidneys, as least do it right.

It seems to have become cold again. There is actually snow on the ground right now. It's insane. I think the universe just wants to torture me. Or maybe just the planet. I'm not sure, but it seems as if I've made enemies with some sort of heavenly body. I hate it when it's cold out. It just makes my 7:45 AM waiting for the bus times that much more unpleasant. Not to mention that after I get off the bus, I have to sit through Prof. Goldman's lecture for an hour and a half. What a terrible lecturer.

Speaking of terrible things, I register for class for next semester this Tuesday. That should be fun. I'm taking all Materials Science classes, as it looks right now. Thermodynamics, Principles II, Lab I, and either Polymers or Electrical, Magnetic, and Optical Materials, or both. I still haven't decided. If I take the both of them, along with band, I'm afraid that I might have a very busy eighteen credits. I keep on thinking that they have a maximum credit limit for full time students for a reason. . .

Well, here comes that time again. That time when I say farewell for another month. And also that time where you leave no comments, so it seems that I am alone and no one ever reads my journal. Well, I suppose it's fair enough, as I never write in it. But I digress.

Until next time,
Mike Katz
