Get. Out. Of. Here.
Well, this is my first post of 2011.
So, far this year hasn't been very different from last year. In fact, I dare say that I'm surrounded by all the same people/crap that I've already been surrounded around. Yes, this is an awfully pessimistic outlook, but I'm in just that kind of mood. I can say that this year will not be as crappy as last year, though. One of my favorite gospel songs (and scriptures) says "Your latter will be greater than your past" -- I believe that. Twenty eleven is going to be a great year!
Meanwhile, I'm ready to have my new beginning...in a different state. Yes, I've finally succumb to that horribly stereotypical thought of so many people in this state. I don't want to be one of them, but...I am. I'm ready to leave. I'm interested in putting down roots on one coast or another. California is on the brain because I wanna get into outdoorsy things (and men...ZING!), but I believe my heart is on the East coast. New York, Boston, D.C. -- they're all calling my name.
The clock is a'tickin'. I've got to get my fat toes a'wigglin'.
