Wow, I'm glad I had this weekend to be pissy and bitchy. I've decided that I'm STILL VERY PISSED OFF AT FOLSOM. But I'm not going to say anything. Well.... except this:

I've worked my ass of for three years for that band. Freshman year I was writing set cards and helping everyone out the best I could. Sophomore year I took up lead alto in top jazz. And I did PRETTY FUCKING GOOD, thank you. I stepped up to the plate whenever that man needed me to, and tried to be nice and cheerful about it. Then, he made Mark section leader, after Mark had proven that he was a grade A asshole, and left me with Historian. But I dealt with it, and did my job. I went A and B the effing C of D on so many levels. Doing loading crew, paying out of pocket for various expenses (the director gifts.. hello?!), making the scrapbook and slideshow, taking up tenor because no one else would. And what do I get? A big fat load of nothing. Thanks.

This isn't so much about drum major as the fact that I'm not on staff AT ALL after all of that work. And I'm sick and tired of people telling me to get over it. Since when does hard work get rewarded with nothing? All of you got what you wanted, so it's just that you DON'T CARE. And you don't want to "take sides", because you're such GREAT AND NOBEL FRIENDS. But you don't care that I've been screwed over. Well, hope you're happy. Thanks guys, you've helped me see who I can trust. The list is sadly small.

On a MUCH happier note, I had a complete stranger tell me that I was beautiful today! Made me smile. And I bought two 60's cds, Selmasongs (by Bjork), a book on the 60's, and Big Sur by Kerouac. <333 And Marika and I are hanging out tomorrow. Yay!

I'm totally going to get Smith help me write some songs for the stands. Respect, Soul Man, and My Girl, maybe. 60's pop is amazing.
