Here I am. Back at BYU. I am both excited and sad. There are so many things I could not bring with me, and the one that has left the biggest hole is the company I kept.

Being home for summer semester was wonderful. Getting to play with my Mom,
Mhovley and talk with my Dad was the best thing for me. Being around my family was wonderful, especially with the family reunion up Provo Canyon. I also enjoyed the company of friends that I could not be with over the last year.
Inu_Tenshi,
Ginyoko, and
Jschaw in particular.

It is nice to just hang out and be silly with
Inu_Tenshi and
Ginyoko. They both take my oddness with a laugh and let me be myself. The stress from the last year melted off when I was around them. It was the best therapy ever.

Thank you!

Coming back to BYU, I get to be around my school friends again and last night I  played “Muggle Quiditch” and it happened to be one of the best things ever!

Scotland37 and her fiancée, Gabriel, invited
Balltag and I to go play with some of their friends and it was hysterical. There were three hoops on both sides of the field, different heights, made out of piping. The Keeper was the only one with a broom, and they used it to defend the hoops. The Chasers ran around with the Quaffle, a dodgeball, and could only take three steps. They had to drop the ball for two counts if they got hit by one of the Beaters throwing a Bludger. The beaters had these large, soft, tennis balls that they could throw at whoever. They couldn’t touch the Quaffle though. Oh, haha, and for the snitch we threw a quarter into the middle of the field. Nobody found it and nobody looked. Seeker is a very “not fun” position to play. But it would be great if you had little kids who wanted to play too. Except, I do not recommend a quarter.

I played Chaser the whole time because there were not many up for running back and forth like for both games. Besides, I really like playing Chaser.

There were some fatalities, of course. One girl stepped on a sprinkler head barefoot, which is uncomfortable to say the least. And then there was the final one.
Scotland37,
Balltag, and I were the Chasers for our team. Scotland and Balltag both chose a side of the field, and I ran back and forth between them. This was great for the lobs.

Scotland got pelted in the face with a Bludger, they were really soft, but the ball got a good twenty foot arch bouncing off of her eye. She even did the slow motion, dramatic fall backwards as it hit her. Funny to say, but it was a beautiful hit.

We stopped the game after that. Scotland was laughing and ok, but she is easily bruised, so her “ok-ness” was in question.

Had a good time on Sunday. My lesson went well. I hope I get to teach again.

Inu_Tenshi might be coming down this Saturday to visit me! I am so excited!

And the next day my friend Nefi will be driving me up to Centerville to go to singing class. That will be fun. I am excited for my family to meet him. And that means… I get to see my family, too! Double bonus!

Well, classes start tomorrow. My only class will be the character design class. I am stoked! We shall see what tomorrow brings…
