Whole week of reading because it's "reading week"!
And by reading, I mean playing video games.
JKS, but yeah, started catching up on a few games since I've been busy and haven't played anything.
I just got RYGAR: The Battle of Argusfor the WII. I heard it's just the PS2 Rygar game that implemeted Wii controls, but I've never played any of the Rygar games before, so yeah. I'm having fun swinging my arms wildly, though. :D
I finished Prince of Persia [08] despite the retardedness of my computer. I don't want to spoil anything, but I just want to say had mixed reactions at the end. The gamer in me was like, "OKAY. WTF." Let's just say the game is a giant circle. You end up right at the beginning. It's not bad, it opens up for a sequel. But it was tough to actually control the Prince to destroy everything you worked for. D: LIKE DUDE NOOOOO, Don't do it! *Press A// ...dies a little bit inside*. Haha, but the fangirl in me AWWWWWWW'd at the reason why he did it. I mean, it wasn't really emphasized in the plot, but it was one of those "obvious" things. But yeah. It was all good. He's a lover not a fighter! Well I guess he's both.
Speaking of the Prince, I realized why the Prince in Rival Swords sounds like a douche bag. It's the same guy that does Sasuke's dub voice. LOL. I haven't finished it yet... but soon. I'm at the part after I get his dead daddy's glowing sword. lol
Since I mentioned Naruto DUB, I have Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 for the PSP, and I just want to comment on the BEST feature this game (or any Naruto game in general) could ever have: audio swap. Totally.
My PSP is busy with fighting games right now. That, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, and Power Stone Collection. Yes, you heard right! Power Stone! I last played this on a DREAMCAST. Love it. SSB-esque fighting. :P WANG TANG! brrrrap. I used to watch the show, too! I remember back in the day I used to watch it! LOL
OH! Speaking of back in the day shows! I was thinking on getting another fighting game for the PSP [contemplating between Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max or King of Fighters], when I remember there was an anime series of Street Fighter. An event I remember the most was Vega liking Chun-Li and, like, he went into her room while she was sleeping, and then after he and Ken duke it out "for her affections". In a cage! Does anybody know what I'm talking about!? LOL
Oh and last thing. Being such a whore that I am for the Ocarina of Time title, I have FINALLY, after years of painful search because nobody seemed to have it [grr], have gotten my hands on this bad boy right here:
I've beaten OoT x amount of times on N64, it's available as an emu in the internetz, I could easily buy it with Wii Points in VC. It's crazy to go through all this trouble, TOTALLY, but I really just wanted this disc. It's CLASSIC. DUDE, IT'S LIKE 7 in FF. LOLOLOLO [you saw this analogy coming]. But yeah. OoT is my fave LoZ title, followed oh so closely by TP. :P
So... I did my happy dance for like ten minutes, because I realized that yes, the Wii plays GC games, but I still need a GC memory card to save! That totally burst my bubble, but it's cool.
I just ROLLED around Kokiri for like, 20 mins. LOL. Have to get used to "L-TARGETING". N64 controllers did look retarded though, now that I look back.
And omg, I haven't played it in so long, but I still remember the way to Sacred Forest Meadow! LOL I got through Lost Woods in one go. And also, I never knew I could get there so early. I enever tried before but yeah. I always thought you needed the Hylian Sheild for the wolf.. but I guess not. HAHA. I owned him with my black flip skillzzzzz
