The annual dream
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYBODY (:
I still prefer CNY to Christmas, though Christmas seems so much glamorous. Maybe it's cos I get to receive angbaos, which I feel are more practical than presents. That plus the yummy goodies I get to eat. Ok not that there aren't goodies during Christmas but CNY is also one of the few times in a year when I can really relax and pretend I don't have a care in the world. Alright maybe not cos I did recall studying for tests/doing holiday homework/completing other works during the CNY period.
Reunion dinner this year was quite different for me cos I was the last to reach my grandma's place and everybody had eaten already :( Nonetheless, I'm still quite touched cos she kept a whole plate of abalone for me since it's my favourite dish (: I didn't finish the whole plate of course. My appetite isn't that big yeah :P
Dreams will always come to an end and this one isn't an exception. Back to work on Wednesday, and there's a whole lineup of assignments waiting for me. Such a killjoy.
Never mind, I shall enjoy this dream while it lasts (:
