Ohayocon rocks my socks!
So, an actual update. Something other than just nonsense parody lyrics.
Ohayocon rocked socks beyond telling. Spending the week with my wonderful fiance was great. Just us... a several THOUSAND anime fans. ^____^ I have a new costume, Fem!Naruto, the most on the fly costume ever. But it was fun. I can't wait to redo it and make an actual costume, not just black exercise clothes with an orange zip up hoodie. And btw, can we say COLD outside! Lol.
Saw a BUNCH of familiar faces at Ohayocon, which was pretty neat. I picked up some very prettified pictures of Yuki and Shuichi from Gravitation that match and will be going up in my room at Suzzanne's. I also somehow gained an affinity for orange. >.> Naruto, get out of my head. Lol. I've never liked the color orange in my life, and when I bought an orange hoodie and orange bows for my costume, I knew I'd never wear them again. And yet, I wore them out today, and even bought some pretty orange jewelry. Bloody hell, I'm screwed. Lol. Well, I guess it's okay as long as I don't suddenly start yelling "Believe it!" after every other sentence. "Dattebayo" I could deal with. "Believe it"? Hell no.
Cosplays that need to be done sometime soon... Sailor Naruto. I was in the masquerade Saturday waiting for it to start, and started thinking about new costumes and thought- oooo! I should do a Sailor Naruto! Then, after the skits started... there was a Sailor Naruto. T.T She stole my brainwave! *laughing* It's alright though, because I'm still going to do it. Ranko-chan will be my Sailor Sasuke, and whether he likes it or not, Will is going to be Tuxedo Sakura. *grins* He may protest now, but he's also protested every other cosplay. Robin? He protested the spandex. I won. Envy? He REALLY protested the costume. I won. Kakashi? He protested that he didn't know the series well enough. I won. ^___^ He also now loves being Kakashi. So who knows best?? Lol.
Btw, heels are KILLER for anime cons. The bottoms of my heels are literally shredded from walking around all three days in heels and boots. *rubs my poor, poor feet* Ite. >.< Beauty is pain, right? Yeah, yeah, so I'm not all that beautiful, but oh well. Lol. Gimme some time, I'm still working on losing weight for the wedding.
Five more days at home. Bleh. I miss con. I miss freedom. I miss Will. Lol.
I can't wait till MTAC. Or ACen. Or to see VIC!!!!! YAY!!!! Vic's going to be at MTAC! SQUEEEE!
And random note as I wrap up this post. Some of you might be amused by this. While I was at con this weekend, my Ed pup in Niflheim was left in a precarious position. Tachiko (or female Itachi) had been pressing him to try and use chakra by using the energy that's put into alchemy. So Ed tried it in order to humor her. The attempt backfired and screwed up Ed's automail, leaving him suddenly twitching and looking around to make sure Winry wouldn't pop up and kill him. Friday night, I saw a Winry. Before I knew what the crap was going on- I twitched. Even better, the Winry ended up coming up the stairs Will and I were at, and she had a movie!Ed with her. We stopped them to ask for a picture. She pulled out a wrench. I twitched.
*shoots my muses* Bad Ed! Bad Naruto-chan! Stop making me twitch at cosplayers and like insanely bright colors!
It could be worse I guess. At least I'm not making hand seals. >.>
