Backstreet's Back, ALRIGHT!
Just a quick update before I go to bedfordshire. I am MOST excited about Peter and I think next week, we may take steps to ask him out with us or something. I really can not wait at all. I hope this guy works out for me, because already, I really like him. I've not liked a guy THIS much in a fucking long time. Wish me luck, because if this works, the least it will do is change my whole perception of myself.
My confidence is slowly improving. Yesterday I plucked up the courage to speak to a cyprian girl from my Seminar group who i occasionally wave and say hello to. I mentioned her in my LJ a few days ago, so I am SO pleased that I achieveed my target and asked her if she'd like to come out with us sometime. I got her number and she said that she'd be back from Cyprus in a week. I'm really quite excited about making friends with her. She seems like a fucking lovely girl.
I ALSO spoke to another guy from my seminar group today called Ryan. He's a fellow mancunian and also seems to be a really nice guy. We talked a little bit about the contract law essay and a few other academic things before just introducing each other formally. It was nice and I'm really glad that I have another person to build a friendship with. I'm very eager to make friends of my own, rather than almost scrounge of Fatima and the friends she has made. She's almost like a sister to me, she takes very good care of me, especially in terms of introducing me to all the people she meets. And while I know that friends are no the be all and end of all of life, I would like to make a few more friends who like me on the basis of my personality. It would be awesome.
Am going to Alton Towers tomorrow with the Chinese Society. It is a very big theme park up north, around an hour and a half away from manchester. Its prolly the best amusement park we have and tomorrow is the final day it is open before the winter break, which will combine events for Halloween too, so its gonna be an AWESOME day. I've got to get up at like 7am tomorrow, so i can shave and preen myself to look half decent and so i can get there for a time of 8.15. I shan't be fasting. I really hope I make it on time.
Oh and I owe Cameron a call. Bugger.
