Happy new year, children! ^__^ Play nice. <3 LAI LAI HEI!
I'm tired but happy.
I spent the night at Vesa's with Still and Meyi (and Pihla, but she had to leave before midnight). Still-chan cooked (<3 I can handle the mother role I have in all other ways, but cooking is not my strength. Luckily it's hers. ^^') and we ate and watched movies. Disney's Snow White, Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast and Tim Burton's Batman Forever. 8DD Loved them all~
My cell phone decided to be nasty and refused to send any messages, so I couldn't reply when my friends wished me a happy new year. ^^' Damn. And whoever said that you can't celebrate and have fun without alcohol was wrong. ^-^
Vesa made me listen a song by Timo Rautiainen. Rautiainen isn't usually my cup of tea, but this song, Hiljaisen talven lapsi (The Child of the Silent Winter? ^^' I hate translating beautiful names.), is wonderful. <3 ^__^ Composed by Tuomas Holopainen (of Nightwish) and with Tony Kakko (of Sonata Arctica) singing the backing vocals, though, so no wonder I like it. ^^
O.o Winamp just picked up Thunder Bird by T.M.Revolution. I just realized that I have never heard anything by T.M.R. before. *silence* Sounds pretty nice. ^^
I made a new year decision. The same I made last year. And it is: I'll give someone a hug at least once a day this year. I stole that from Still (and Meyi?) because that's simply one of the best promises I've ever heard.
