Ludwig had just exited Madam Puddifoot's, and honestly, he had no idea why he had even -entered- that place. With somewhat of a lost expression on his face, he continued to walk

Ryan was walking a bit aimlessly through the streets of Hogsmeade. He had already picked up some spare parchment and ink, and he was thinking a bit about where to head next for his shopping. It was during this pondering that he briefly saw Ludwig enter The Three Broomsticks and started to feel nervous. He eventually decided that this was a good time to make things right and entered the Inn quietly, hoping that the perfect apology would come into his head before too long.

Ludwig headed toward the main counter and ordered a tall glass of butterbeer. He would have preferred good old German beer, but unfortunately, here, he was considered underage, so alcohol wasn't allowed.

Turning around to head to a free table, he noticed Ryan and waved.

"Ah, a familiar face."

"Oh, Ludwig!" Ryan said nervously as he approached the table. "How are you doin' , man? I mean what're the odds of two fellers from Hogwarts meetin' up like this, right?"

While sitting down, he smiled slightly and replied, "The odds are actually fairly decent, seeing as it's the first weekend of the month."

"How are you?"

"Well, I've been alright, mostly." He said. "The trip's been treatin' me right, and I had a bunch of time for takin' things easy for a change. Are you doin' alright?"

Ryan still wasn't sure how he was going to talk about the subject of their group, but he was looking for an opportunity. Plus, he wanted to let Ludwig speak a bit first while he collected his thoughts.

"That's good. I haven't been to Hogsmeade in years, but it does seem pretty relaxing."

For some reason, Ryan appeared kind of nervous. Ludwig had no idea why he would be, but he didn't want to ask and come across as nosy.

"Dang, it is good to see everyone doin' so well." Ryan said with a smile. He said nothing for a moment before his joy gave way to nervous babbling.

"I'm so sorry!" Ryan said. "I didn't know about the project and I'm sorry I flipped out so bad! I wouldn't have butted into your group if I knew I was gonna flake out like I did!"
