I don't have anything to say here, really. There was a spider hanging from the ceiling above my bed this morning, and I was at a loss for how to get rid of it, since I didn't want to dirty up any of my books. I ended up searching for a standard broom (not one that you can ride, obviously) and knocking it down. I then tossed both the broom and the spider out the window.
Yes, I know, I could have used a spell, but I figured I should do some things manually, since I won't be able to use magic when I return home in the summer.
