I'm slowly getting closer to an actual application for the golem character but I have question that I'd like some answers to.

Things like how independent are golems? do they require constant supervision or can you give one an order and expect that it would be carried out in your absence reasonably well?

For Golem in the watch are they assigned to specific officers or just part of a general pool of golem that are pulled out and used when needed?

and I was curious about what the lifespan of a golem might be. alos are golem the property of the one of made them? or of the person who has them and is giving them orders? Also what pronoun is used for Golem?

Very helpful! Though I did forget to ask one more important question....Do golems have voices? as in can they speak? if not how do they communicate? do they write things down or use gestures and body language?

One more question (sorry this will the last one for a bit. really) What sort of identification is used to distinguish one golem from another? Do they have names? Or numbers? job titles?

Hmmm, I was thinking about this earlier. I think more sophisticated models can speak? The basic grunt-work types probably can't...

Nameswise... What would a city with an institutionalised golem force do? I guess serial numbers might make sense. I assume that if individuals own them they might give them proper names. :)

Such as which language do the Watch use among themselves? I assume that to be an officer one should at least understand and probably be able to communicate in the major languages in use in the city but which one do they use for their own internal stuff including things like serial numbers?

As a force for a city in Turkey, even a multicultural one, I would think Turkish would make the most sense? :)
