Am I the only one who feels inexplicable guilt about already being on part 8? I mean fill only mode went off and everything just....exploded.
I know we've been warned against "chattiness" and I do think I saw some of that, but not as much as I saw those useless requests. I mean...there are ones where you can tell the same person just posted like five in a row. And I still feel like if people request something, they should really mean it. If that makes any sense. Like they're definitely not going to abandon the fill. And they actually think a lot of other people want to read them. I understand self-indulgence and stuff and I get that not everyone has the same kinks so you can't target everyone, but that's not what I'm talking about.
Also the repeat requests.... I personally haven't gone through and read parts 1-6 (I joined about half way through part 6 and I saw pretty much everything after that) but there are some fics that are REALLY FAMOUS for having been filled. And for some things it's just kind of obvious that they've already been filled and that it would be easy to get a link to the fill or fills. I also get the wanting to have something personalized to your request thing but....
I don't know. I just don't like it when people are careless or inconsiderate or immature and I just feel like we have a little bit of that going on and it worries me.
