Don't get me wrong, I adore the fic in question. I look forward to the updates, and I admire and envy the writing, since I sure as hell can't write political intrigue or action scenes. Do I have problems with it? Yep. And that brings me to the point.

This fandom doesn't deserve anything nice it gets.

I've always liked Ratchet. He is, technically, one of my favorite characters. (It doesn't help that I OT3 him with Optimus and Ironhide...) Pretty much every incarnation of him is awesome, and imo, he doesn't get enough love as a character.
