I have to make this quick, because I need to get out the door to go earn me some money. But there's this post over at sf_drama dealing with feminism and genderqueer and all that stuff.
It pretty much speaks for itself, so I won't add to it, but I'd like to say that I really fucking hate a lot of people over at ontd_feminism . I read the posts there sometimes, and for the most part the posts are informative and whatnot. And then you read the comments and sometimes it's like sitting in a philosophy class with the most stubborn, bullying, self-righteous fucks you can imagine.
Take for example wenli. I don't really give a fuck about her experiences or opinion. I have absolutely no reason to because I don't know her, and now I really don't give a shit, because in that sf_drama post, she is a raging asshole who keeps being licked by winterfox. Everything she says that may have a valid point is buried underneath so much "lol u stupid" invalidation and general dumbfuckery that I want to reach through the computer and shake her. Just wtf do you think you're doing? Feminism is not your own personal area of expertise, it's not up to one person to determine whether someone can play in the sandbox, and fuck you wenli for acting like you can.
No, really. I get that feminism is about and for women, exclusively. Understood. Feminism is the one area where women should have the power, all of it. Got it.
